SILVERADO SOARING CLUB

Introductory

Introductory Membership - $150 for 30 days or 2 Dual Flights.   Is only for an applicant to see if soaring is for him/her, and for the club to see if the person has what it takes to potentially become a glider pilot with Silverado Soaring Club. This membership is designed for dual instructional flying of Club gliders.  Inquire to see if you qualify.

Start Flying Tomorrow



Membership entitles you to schedule and fly both of the Grob G-103 advanced trainers.  There is no hourly cost.   You can schedule up to 4 sessions in advance using our online scheduling tool.  You are welcome to use the gliders any time they are not scheduled, by simply dropping in.  This is great  for current power pilots thinking of adding a glider rating, or even for beginners with no flying time at all, seeking to get involved.  Many of our club members are also flight instructors and all of our bases have local CFI’s that can teach in our gliders.


Memberships Are Available

Regular

       The Regular Membership is for Members  that hold at least a valid private pilot certificate with or without a glider rating.


COST:

Submit an Initial fee of $250.00. or have upgraded from Transition member (at no additional cost) and pay monthly dues, currently at $100. each month.

The Plus Membership is for Members  that hold at least a valid private pilot certificate with a glider rating, and the additional skills and experience for the safe and qualified check out into the Diamond Motor Glider

Platinum

Family

A spouse or a child, living under the same household of an active Regular Member may elect to become a “Family Member”.  A child shall be enrolled full time in an academic institution, and shall be less than 23 years of age.


COST:

Submit an Initial fee of $100.00. nd pay monthly dues, currently at $50. each month.
